Escape is such a thankful Word
I often in the Night
Consider it unto myself
No spectacle in sight
Escape — it is the Basket
In which the Heart is caught
When down some awful Battlement
The rest of Life is dropt —
'Tis not to sight the savior —
It is to be the saved —
And that is why I lay my Head
Upon this trusty word —

Our prompt for November 23's meeting is: "________ is such a thankful word"
Have a happy Thanksgiving everyone!

fortunatly there are words for every thing. fortunatly there are words that will always say that he who gives should give with both hands , so that his hands retain nothing that rightfully belongs to someone else. just as kindness should not be ashamed of being kindness, so justice should never forget above all else it is restitution, the restitution of rights. all of them, begining with the basic right to live in dignity. if i were asked to put charity, kindness, and justice in order of precedence, i would give first place to kindness, second to justice, and third to charity. beacuse kindness already dispenses justice and charity of its own accord, and beacuse a fair system of justice already contains sufficent charity within it. charity is what is left hwne there is neither kindness or justice.......
